Description
The value n determines how the ZALLOCATE (ZA) and ZDEALLOCATE (ZD) commands behave, according to InterSystems IRIS rules or DSM-11 rules:

ZaMode=0
Range of Values
0 or 1. The default is 0.
Management Portal
On the page System Administration > Configuration > Additional Settings > Compatibility, in the ZaMode row, select Edit. Choose true (selected) or false (cleared).
