The Atelier CLS editor provides templates for commonly-used source code patterns. Templates are structured descriptions of patterns that occur frequently in source code. You insert a template by typing the content assist keystrokes, CTRL+Space. See the topic Templates for information on adding new templates and managing existing ones.
For example, a common coding pattern when writing a class is to add a class method. The template for this pattern, called classmethod, adds the code that is the same in any class method, and aids you in filling out details such as the method name. Templates can contain template variables, which mark the editable locations.
