Some file types and application types require that you use Atelier in conjunction with the Management Portal. You can open the Management Portal from the Server Explorer context menu.
You can view and edit classes that use Business Process Language (BPL) and Data Transformation Language (DTL). Atelier provides a dual mode editor that lets you edit both source code and a graphic view. See Working with BPL and DTL. You can also access these editors from the Management Portal.
You can use the Atelier editor to view and edit source code for classes that involve business rules. To view and edit the graphical view, you must use the Management Portal:
To manage the files in source control from Atelier, you need to synchronize changes you have made on the server to a project in the workspace.
If the file is already in a project:

You can view, edit, and export lookup tables on the Management Portal.
You can view, edit, and export HL7 schemas on the Management Portal.
Note: HL7 support is currently provided by a distributed plug-in called Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF). There are a number of additional Eclipse projects which may also apply. However, using these tools would not allow for changes to be saved on the server.
