UI Differences Between Mac and Windows
Most Atelier features work the same way on either the Windows or Mac platform. There are a few important
- Command v Control – In general, in situations where Windows machines use the key sequences
starting with the Control key (CTRL+ ), Macs use the Command key. The Atelier help files use the Windows
convention to describe these key sequences. Mac users should substitute the Command key.
You can also both examine and customize the keystroke mappings for keyboard shortcuts by selecting
Window > Preferences from the main menu and then selecting
General > Keys.
- Location of the Preferences wizard – On Windows machines, the wizard used to set preferences
for Atelier is located on the Window menu. On Mac machines, the menu item for this wizard is located
on the Eclipse menu. The Atelier help files use the Windows
convention, Window > Preferences, to describe the location of this menu item.
Mac users should substitute Atelier > Preferences
- Location of Toggle Full Screen – On Windows machines, Window > Appearance > Toggle Full Screen.
On Mac machines, Window > Toggle Full Screen.
