Synopsis
[Startup]    FIPSMode=n
Description
Enable/disable FIPS 140–2 compliant library for database encryption on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 (or later minor version) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1 (or later minor version) for x86-64.
The value n is either 1 or 0.

Example
FIPSMode=0
Range of Values
0 or 1. The default is 0 (false, disabled).
Management Portal
On the page System Administration > Configuration > Additional Settings > Startup, in the FIPSMode row, select Edit. Select the check box to use the FIPS 140-2 compliant library for database encryption.
