Sets $ZF process deletion behavior for OpenVMS STOP/ID system-wide. On OpenVMS systems only.
Synopsis
[Miscellaneous]    StopID=n
Description
Using the OpenVMS STOP/ID command to delete a process can cause your system to fail. For this reason, on OpenVMS systems, by default, Caché prevents you from deleting processes with STOP/ID. For processes that are executing $ZF functions, you may need to be able to delete a process from OpenVMS. Set this value to 0 if you need to terminate processes in a $ZF function.
Application mode jobs always ignore argumentless BREAK commands.
Examples
StopID=1
Range of Values
0 or 1. The default is 1.
Management Portal
On the page System Administration > Configuration > Additional Settings > Compatibility, in the StopID row, select Edit and choose true (selected) or false (cleared).
