Release Notes (2.11)

This page describes the major changes in version 2.11, including bug fixes that may affect how you work.

Improved CSV/SFTP Data Source

The SFTP data source now uses the existing FileDir data source mechanism for processing files. When defining an SFTP data source, users must reference an existing FileDir data source. This change simplifies processing logic and ensures consistent behavior between file-based sources.

New SAP Connector

Version 2.11 introduces a new connector for SAP systems. The SAPS4HanaAPI option is now available in the Data Sources section. This connector integrates with SAP’s S/4HANA API to list and load available schemas and data objects from SAP environments. All extraction strategies are supported, including timestamp and numeric sequential extraction.

Support For Table and Column Remarks

Some databases allow users to add remarks (metadata comments) to tables and columns. With this release, schema definitions imported through JDBC now include any available table and column remarks. Table remarks are used to populate the overall schema description, while column remarks populate the descriptions for individual fields.

Improved Disk Usage

The Disk Usage section of the System Information page now includes the ability to compact databases. For each listed database, users can now click a button to compact and truncate it. This operation helps to free up unused space and returns it to the disk for improved storage management.

Managed Queries Interface

Version 2.11 gives users the ability to view, create, modify, and test managed queries directly from the product interface, making it easier for users to organize and work with their predefined queries.
