InterSystems Kubernetes Operator
The InterSystems Kubernetes Operator (IKO) automates deployment of InterSystems IRIS® topologies on any Kubernetes platforms.
Description
KubernetesOpens in a new tab is an open-source orchestration engine for automating the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads and services. The InterSystems Kubernetes Operator (IKO) extends the Kubernetes API with a custom resource, IrisCluster, which facilitates the automation of InterSystems IRIS-specific cluster management capabilities using any Kubernetes platform. With IKO, you can automate tasks which would ordinarily require manual interaction with cluster instances (such as the addition of a node). IKO thereby enables the configuration and automated deployment of robust and dynamic InterSystems IRIS clusters which can fully leverage scaling and high-availability features, including sharding, distributed caching, and mirroring.
