Ensemble HL7 Message Routing Overview

This section of the tutorial provides an overview and a demonstration of Ensemble's support for HL7 version 2 message routing. After completing this section of the tutorial, you will be able to:

  • Start and stop an Ensemble HL7 message routing production using the Management Portal.

  • Describe the basic architecture and capabilities of an Ensemble HL7 message routing production.

  • Describe the pre-built HL7 processing components that are part of Ensemble.

  • Configure a production and its components using the Management Portal.

  • Locate stored Ensemble messages using the Message Viewer.

  • View the details of an Ensemble session using the Visual Trace.
