Using SQL and ODBC

Using SQL and ODBC provides an introduction to accessing imported multivalue data using Caché SQL and ODBC. After completing this part of the tutorial, you will be able to:

  • Use the PROTOCLASS routine to generate both SQL and Object projections of MultiValue data that has been imported into Caché.

  • Use the Management Portal to view the relational tables generated for imported MultiValue data.

  • Use the Management Portal to execute SQL queries against imported MultiValue data.

  • Configure an ODBC driver for use with Caché.
