CRD (Coverage Requirements Discovery) REST API Specification
Service Overview
InterSystems® Payer Services CRD (Coverage Requirements Discovery) REST APIs are designed in compliance with the CMS-0057-F regulationsOpens in a new tab. CRD gives providers a means to discover, in real time, specific payer requirements which may affect whether the provision of a service or device to a patient is covered by the responsible payer, along with other recommendations and best practice information.
Refer to the audience and connection sections of the Getting Started guide for general information on prerequisites, connectivity, and authentication. To use these REST APIs, you will also need to know the base URL of the payer server that you will be connecting to.
Available APIs
InterSystems Payer Services CRD provides the following APIs:

Discovery: allows a provider to find out what services are available, and the information required to query a particular CRD service

Service: allows a provider to call a particular service

Feedback: optionally, a provider can send feedback about the end user’s response to a card returned by a service
