Depending on how you are using Ensemble or how long you have been using it, you most likely are interested in reading different topics. The following sections provide an outline of the documentation resources where you may want to start:

There is also an Ensemble Feature Map which you can access on the InterSystems Online Documentation home page by clicking Feature Map in the gray link bar near the top of the page. Clicking the terms in the map links you to various topics throughout the Ensemble documentation set.
New Ensemble Developer
If you are a developer preparing to use Ensemble for the first time, see the following resources:
  1. Installing Ensemble chapter in this guide, which provides you with instructions on installing Ensemble and points you to the appropriate topics in the Caché documentation.
  2. Introducing Ensemble provides an overview of Ensemble and options that you may want to include in your Ensemble productions, with pointers to more detailed information.
  3. Ensemble Best Practices describes best practices for designing, developing, and maintaining Ensemble productions.
  4. Developing Ensemble Productions, which, in turn, points you to specific topics in the Developer Guides and Adapter Guides.
