Creating the Classes

The first step in implementing our Web Service is to create the classes it uses. We will use Studio to implement these classes.

The first step is to start Studio using either the InterSystems Launcher (Systems Tray) menu or by clicking on the Windows Start button and selecting Studio from the Programs / Caché menu.

After Studio starts, connect to the namespace in which you intend to work, such as USER, by clicking File->Change Namespace and then double-clicking the namespace name in the Caché Connection Manager.
