Mapping a Global

Here are the instructions for creating a global mapping in the %SYS namespace which locates the MYUSERS global in the USER database:

1. Open the Namespaces page (click [Home] > [System Administration] > [Configuration] > [System Configuration] > [Namespaces]) of the Management Portal. Click the Global Mapping link in the %SYS namespace row.

   

2. Click New on the Global Mappingspage.

   

3. Enter the following information and then click OK:

   1. Global database location: USER

   2. Global name: MYUSERS

   

4. Finally, click Save Changes.
