Defining Users (2.14)
This page describes how to define users. Data Studio uses an identity provider for user authentication. Users are managed through the InterSystems Cloud Services Portal. After adding users, be sure to define SSO rules in Data Studio to map the user to the appropriate user roles. User roles determine which permissions the user has in Data Studio.

For some enterprise deployments, InterSystems Managed Services may configure the Data Studio identity provider to use your organization's identity provider. In this configuration, users from your organization's identity provider can authenticate to Data Studio without being created as Connect Users.
