Activity Type Reference (2.13)

This section provides reference information for each activity type in recipes .

• Staging Activity – Loads data from one or more data schemas, loading data for each schema into a separate generated staging table.
• Transformation Activity – Transforms values in a staging table.
• Validation Activity – Validates the fields in a staging table and generates a report on any validation failures.
• Reconciliation Activity – Compares the most recent data loaded into two tables and generates a report on any differences.
• Promotion Activity – Promotes data to the final tables or files.
• Custom Activity – Performs custom processing at any phase during a recipe.
