Schemas and the Management Portal

The Management Portal includes tools for viewing and working with both standard and custom schemas. You can find the tools here: Ensemble > Interoperate > HL7 v2.x > HL7 v2.x Schema Structures

With this page and its tools you can do all of the following:

• View the message types and message structures for each schema (standard and custom) available in the namespace along with each schema's segment structures, data structures, and code tables.

• Import and export schemas.

• Create, edit, and delete schemas. Note that you will typically only alter custom schemas. Standard schemas should be left intact.
