Privileged Routine Applications

A privileged routine application contains one or more routines that use the $SYSTEM.Security.AddRoles method to add additional roles to users while they are using the routine. These routines and their additional roles must be registered with Caché through a Privileged Routne Application Definition. Only registered routines can use $SYSTEM.Security.AddRoles.

Use the Privileged Routine Applications page (click [Home] > [System Administration] > [Security] > [Applications] > [Privileged Routine Applications]) to create or edit application definitions for privileged routine applications:

Click Create New Privileged Routine Application to create an application definition for a privileged routine application.

Click the privileged routine application name to edit it.
