Add Class Wizard Step 1

This launches the New Class Wizard. We begin by assigning our class to a package and then giving it a name and a description .

A package is simply a way to group together related classes. Using packages makes it easier to find classes and to keep class names unique (because they only need to be unique within the package.)

To create a new package, as we have done here, we simply type in a new name. Thereafter, we can select the package name from the drop-down list.

Click Next to continue.
