Supply Chain Framework 1.7.3

InterSystems Supply Chain Orchestrator includes the InterSystems Supply Chain Framework. Version 1.7.3 of the Supply Chain Framework focuses on improving the implementation of issue analysis, together with a few bug fixes. There are no new features introduced in this release.

Data Model Updates

There are no new data objects and no new attributes in the data model in this release.

The Issue object has new status values, to help users better understand the status of an issue. The new values are workflow action triggered, workflow action success, and workflow action error. The Supply Chain Framework sets these values; external systems should only use these values, but not set them.

API Updates

There are no API changes in this release.

Security Role Updates

Some of the security roles now have fewer privileges by default; the focus is now on privileges that are needed to access or modify supply chain data. The changes are as follows:

  • SC_namespace_Data_Analyst no longer has the privilege %Admin_Operate:U.

  • SC_namespace_InterOp_Dev no longer has the privilege %Admin_Operate:U.

  • SC_namespace_Data_Architect no longer has the privilege %Admin_Operate:U.

  • SC_namespace_Developer no longer has the privilege %Admin_Operate:U.

  • SC_namespace_DevOps_User no longer has the privileges %Admin_Operate:U and %Admin_Secure:U.

  • SC_namespace_Sys_Admin no longer grants the role %Manager.

Customers can add these privileges to their custom roles if needed, after a proper security evaluation.

See Supply Chain Security Roles.
