Managing Snapshot Groups (2.12)
Ultimately there may be a large number of snapshots , so the product provides an option to group them. When you display the snapshot, the groups are listed alphabetically, followed by any snapshots that are in no groups. Within a group, the snapshots are listed alphabetically.
Creating a Snapshot Group
To create a snapshot group:

Click the Snapshot
icon in the application menu.

Click New group .

Type a unique group name and press Return (or click the check mark).
Renaming a Snapshot Group
To rename a snapshot group:

Click the Snapshot
icon in the application menu.

Click the Menu
icon next to
the snapshot group name. -
Click Rename .

Type the new name and press Return (or click the check mark).
The new name must be unique.
Deleting a Snapshot Group
Before deleting a snapshot group, identify any snapshots in the group that you want to keep, and move those out of this group. When you delete a snapshot group, that action deletes the snapshot in it. Published snapshots can be recovered after that step, but the easiest procedure is to move them first.
To delete a snapshot group:

Click the Snapshot
icon in the application menu.

Click the Menu
icon next to
the snapshot group name. -
Click Delete .

Click Delete Group to confirm this action.
Recovering a Deleted Snapshot Group
To recover a snapshot group that was previously deleted:

Click the Snapshot
icon in the application menu.

Click the Filter
icon. -
Click Show Deleted Groups and then click Apply .
This action displays the deleted groups.

Click the Menu
icon next to
the snapshot group name. -
Click Recover .

Click one of the following options, depending on whether you also want to recover the snapshots in this group:

Recover the group only
-
Recover the group and all of the group’s snapshots
Then click Submit .
