ActiveX

ActiveX is discontinued in InterSystems IRIS and is no longer viable for use in new or existing applications. For customers who have migrated from Caché or Ensemble, ActiveX is deprecated and these customers should plan to eliminate its use. For more information, see Deprecated and Discontinued Features.

Note:

If you migrated from Caché or Ensemble and are using ActiveX with InterSystems IRIS 2025.1 or later, you must disable the ListFormat compatibility setting.

To disable the ListFormat compatibility setting in the Management Portal, navigate to the Compatibility Settings page (System Administration > Configuration > Additional Settings > Compatibility), locate ListFormat, select Edit, and set the ListFormat value to 0.
