Specify the node to use as a template when adding an instance to a sharded cluster.

[Startup] ShardClusterURL=IRIS://host:port/namespace

host:port is the hostname and port of the template node. namespace is the cluster namespace.

ShardClusterURL identifies the existing node (typically node 1) to use as a template when adding a node to a cluster. It is also used to identify the primary of the data node mirror to which the instance is being added.

Using This Parameter

In conjunction with other parameters, ShardClusterURL can be used to deploy sharded clusters, mirrored or nonmirrored, using the configuration merge feature.

Typically, this parameter would not be changed after deployment of the sharded clusterOpens in a new tab, unless the instance is removed from the cluster.
