CDA Documents (Tools/APIs)
Background Information
CDA is a standardized format developed by Health Level Seven International for structuring and sharing clinical documents electronically. It uses XML to ensure that healthcare data is both human-readable and machine-readable.
Available Tools
InterSystems products provide a set of XSLT transforms that convert CDA documents in various ways. See CDA Documents and XSL Transforms.
Availability: All namespaces. The transforms are contained in files within the installation directory.
InterSystems products provide built-in mechanisms for transforming the following data formats to and from SDA: FHIR, HL7 v2, and CDA/C-CDA. See Data Transformations in InterSystems Healthcare Products.
