Deploying InterSystems Products

Deploy InterSystems products in a public or private cloud or on premises, using one of these options.

Deploy Using InterSystems Cloud Manager

InterSystems Cloud Manager (ICM) provides a simple, intuitive way to provision public or private cloud infrastructure and deploy services on it, bringing all the advantages of automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) to containerized or containerless deployment of InterSystems products. By codifying APIs into declarative configuration files that can be shared and versioned, ICM let you safely and predictably create, change, and improve production infrastructure and services on an ongoing basis.

ICM makes it easy to provision and deploy InterSystems IRIS for Health™ configurations on infrastructure as a service (IaaS) public cloud platforms, including Google, Amazon, Azure, and Tencent, and in your private VMware cloud. ICM can also deploy on existing infrastructure.

Deploy Using the InterSystems Kubernetes Operator

Kubernetes is an open-source orchestration engine for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads and services. The InterSystems Kubernetes Operator (IKO) extends the Kubernetes API with a custom resource representing an InterSystems IRIS for Health™ sharded cluster. This resource, called an iriscluster, can be deployed in containers on any Kubernetes platform on which the IKO is installed. The IKO can also deploy a stand-alone instance of InterSystems IRIS on Kubernetes.

Deploy in Containers

Deploying InterSystems IRIS for Health™ in Docker containers is agile, highly repeatable, and well suited to public cloud platforms. Containers cleanly separate code from data and support CI/CD and a DevOps approach, so you can push improvements to the field fast. Start with our images and add your application, or create your own images from scratch.
