InstallLocale

Install a locale as the default locale.

Synopsis

[Actions]
InstallLocale:Name=LocaleName

Where you substitute LocaleName with the name of the desired locale.

Description

InstallLocale installs a locale as the default locale for the system; the locale can be one of the system defined locales or a custom locale which was imported with ImportLocale. InterSystems IRIS® installs the locale when processing the [Actions] section during a configuration merge. During the merge, InterSystems IRIS runs Config.NLS.Locales.Install()Opens in a new tab to install the locale defined by InstallLocale.

Changing this Operation

This operation is designed to be used during a configuration merge. You can change InstallLocale by editing the merge file in a text editor (as described in Editing the Active CPF).
