ActiveX

For customers who have migrated from Caché or Ensemble, ActiveX is supported indefinitely. However, ActiveX is not recommended for use in new applications.

Note:

If you are using ActiveX with InterSystems IRIS 2025.1 or later, you must disable the ListFormat compatibility setting.

To disable the ListFormat compatibility setting in the Management Portal, navigate to the Compatibility Settings page (System Administration > Configuration > Additional Settings > Compatibility), locate ListFormat, select Edit, and set the ListFormat value to 0.
